"Arita City Certified Mandarins" grown in the good soil of the Southeast
Among the many fields owned by Kamitomo Farm, there is one that faces southeast and receives plenty of sunlight during the day. The mandarins grown in this field, which also has good soil, are certified as "Arita City Certified Mandarins" every year. "Arita City Certified Mandarins" are assessed annually by "taste professionals" who represent consumers in Arita City, based on clearly defined standards relating to the characteristics and background of their place of origin, and under an appropriate management system. Mandarins that meet strict quality standards, such as an average sugar content of 12 degrees or more and an acidity of 1.0% or less, and that have excellent taste, appearance, and balance and pass the taste test, are certified as "Arita City Certified Mandarins."
