Product features
Taste characteristics
This unfiltered sake is carefully brewed in a single step and pressed in a bag. Enjoy a fruity taste like nothing you've ever experienced before. It has a refreshing aroma like Kyoho grapes and a rich sweetness reminiscent of melon. We recommend serving it in a wine glass. The lactic acid tightens the aftertaste, leaving a subtle bitterness like citrus peel.

1
sake brewing
Naeba Sake Brewery was founded in 1907 in Tsunan Town, Nakauonuma County, Niigata Prefecture, and is a representative local sake brewery whose sake has been enjoyed and loved mainly in the Uonuma region for over 100 years.

One of Japan's snowiest areas
Tsunan Town is one of Japan's snowiest areas, with the entire brewery completely buried in snow in winter. In February 2022, a record 4.19m was recorded for the first time in recorded history. Snow exceeding 4m can disrupt daily life. However, this harsh and fertile natural environment has fostered an ideal environment for sake brewing, including Ryugakubo, a renowned spring water source and one of Japan's 100 famous water sources, and the clear, cool underground water produced by the melting snow from Mt. Naeba, one of Japan's 100 famous mountains. Using the prefecture's finest sake rice, "Gohyakumangoku," Naeba Brewery's brewing techniques have been passed down by Echigo master brewers, who pride themselves on their skill and tradition.
